Utopia

Have you ever thought of what your utopia would be? Some people think of advanced civilization, and some think about their home or being around their friends.

Utopia was released five years after ASTROWORLD, one of his best albums, and he had everyone waiting for this album to come out. In my opinion, the best songs on the album are “Meltdown,” “Fe!n,” “I Know?” They show the diversity of Travis Scott and how he can switch up on different beats.

“With every album I live in these worlds in my mind — I’m trying to show people experiences where utopian things can exist, and you can enjoy yourself and have a good time. They can create energy that spews out magical things — new cures, new buildings, new avenues for people to move forward,” said Scott.

Some people may ask why is the album so special?

“There are experiments with ambiance, risky beat switches, theatrical and hook-free pop, and orchestration that Scott has never attempted before,” according to AllMusic.

“My favorite songs off the album are “Fe!n”, “Topia Twins,” and “Modern Jam,” junior Eli Schneider said.

The most streamed songs off Utopia are.

1 “I Know?”

2 “Meltdown”

3 “Fe!n”

4 “K-pop”

5 “Telekinesis”

These are also his most streamed songs of all time.

His production deserves all the credit. He brought producers like Metro Boomin and 16 others made the masterpiece that was Utopia. The transitions were one of the highlights of the album, and the beats were a big reason why Travis Scott made such a masterpiece.

In the first week of the album he sold 496,00 units, and all 19 songs on the album got on the Billboard Top 100. This is his second-best album sales. ASTROWORLD is number one, third is JackBoys, fourth is Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho, fifth is Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, and sixth is Rodeo.  Travis Scott has 4 songs on the Billboard Top 100: at 45 “I Know?” 46 is “Meltdown,” 78 is “Telekinesis,” 94 is “Fe!n.” He has had the 2nd most number 1 songs on the Billboard Top 100. The only person with more number one hits is Drake.

Travis Scott is number 11 all-time for number 1 songs on Billboard. Number 1 is Drake, Number 2 is Eminem, Number 3 is Puff Daddy. Why this is such a big deal is to solidify him as one of the greatest rappers of all time.

In conclusion, we waited 5 years for an amazing project that solidifies him as a top rapper right now. This is his second-best album ever in my opinion. I think that Rodeo was the best album he’s ever done, but I like every song of the album.
