Tennis Athletes headed to state. Lodi is pleased to announce they had three high school students go off to state tennis. These students were, seniors Marah Lane and Norah Gruel, as well as sophomore Eva Taylor. Marah and Norah were Lodi’s number one doubles players, and Eva as Lodi’s number one singles player for tennis this 2025 season.
Lodi is so proud of these girls as they earned their spot at state with all the hard work they put into this 2025 tennis season. These girls went off to the Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison, Wi where they competed at state.
Power duo, Marah and Norah, undoubtedly won their first match at state against Rice Lake 6-4, 6-4 advancing them to the next round. Where they then ended up losing 6-1, 6-1 against St. Thomas. Eva also did an outstanding job as her match was very close, losing 6-4, 6-3 to Pacelli. These girls are so proud to say that they ended their tennis season by going to state.
Lastly, Marah, Norah, and Eva want to let out a special thank you, to their parents and coaches who supported them along their journey to and at state. Thank you to the Lane Family, Gruel Family, Taylor Family, and Lodi tennis coaches Joe Birkholz, Tina Wahl, and Jeff Gruel. They wouldn’t have had such an amazing tennis season without their supporters.
